She laughs at every word you said
Trying to keep yourself in her head.
You said you’d wait, no matter how long
That’s why it’s so funny that now you’re gone.

You said you were meant to be together,
And that your love would last forever.
Saying her name always made you smile,
Now hearing your name fills her throat with bile

Looks like all those words you said didn't ring true
And she doesn't know what she’s going to do
To fill the spot that once was your place
But she’s already started to forget your face.

She thought you were it, that you were the one
But now that it’s all said and done,
She’s glad that you left and went away
So she won’t have to wonder about you every day

She doesn't have to wonder if you’ll still be there
Or wonder if you still really care.
She doesn’t have to feel the urge to miss you
Your faithfulness is no longer an issue.
